PIPA was birthed when a post was sent out over Facebook to find people to play pickleball with together. Soon, there was a small group of 4 gathered on the local Pine Island tennis court hitting a wiffle ball back and forth. Within a few months, the 4 grew to 20, and then a 100 and now over 270 members in our Facebook group and to 100 active participants! PIPA has grown into one of the leading surrounding pickleball groups with members participating in tournaments across MN! We are proud to be a nonprofit with a heart and mission for our community and others.

To help spread the love of pickleball throughout our community and the surrounding communities. To help promote and build the Pine Island community and to give back to our community.
Our Vision
We believe that through pickleball bridges can be built across generations, cultures, and backgrounds. Our goal as a non-profit is to use pickleball as a catapult to help develop the mental and physical well being of families and children by helping to bring it into schools and the households of our locals.
